Conductor Vocal Coach Accompanist Committee

Conductor - John Bayley John was appointed our Musical Director in 2003, and with him we have pursued a varied program including Opera highlights, Beethoven’s Choral Symphony, and Haydn’s Nelson Mass John studied Choral Conducting under the renowned conductor Paul Spicer at Birmingham Conservatoire, and also conducts the Ex Urbe Chamber Choir and the Solihull Chandos Choir. Vocal Coach - Gaynor Keeble When Gaynor moved to Hampton we were delighted to engage her as our vocal coach. Gaynor Keeble won scholarships to the University of Warwick and the Royal Academy of Music. She was awarded a Countess of Munster Award and has been a semi-finalist in both the Kathleen Ferrier and the Belvedere International Opera Competition. Gaynor Keeble combines a busy performing career with teaching both privately and at the University of Warwick. She won the London Lieder Prize in December 2001. In2006 she made her debut with English National Opera as Katisha and in 2008 made her debut at the Royal Opera House in The Magic Flute (Visit Gaynor’s web site)	Top
Accompanist - Tom Henderson Tom has been our accompanist and assistant conductor since 2005. Tom is a graduate of the University of Warwick and while there he was heavily involved in the music scene. Notably he was a piano soloist for the regional premiere of Gareth Valentine's Requiem and Janet Hood's Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens at the Butterworth Hall in 2005, and also he was selected to perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 19 with the University of Warwick Chamber Orchestra. He was also conductor and répétiteur for Warwick Student Opera, for whom he founded the WSO Sinfonietta and conducted Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro in 2005. As a singer himself, Tom is a member of the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus and the New London Chamber Choir. He also performs piano duets as one half of the Esterházy Duo, who recently toured Norway, and founded the early music ensemble, Warwick Baroque. . (Visit Tom’s web site)	Top
