John
was appointed our Musical Director in 2003, and with him we have pursued a
varied program including Opera highlights, Beethoven’s Choral Symphony, and
Haydn’s Nelson Mass John studied Choral Conducting under the renowned conductor Paul Spicer at Birmingham Conservatoire, and also conducts the Ex Urbe Chamber Choir and the Solihull Chandos Choir. He is Music Director for the Birmingham Scholl of Acting Summer Schools |

When
Gaynor moved to Hampton we were delighted to engage her as our vocal coach. Gaynor
Keeble won scholarships to the University of Warwick and the Royal Academy of
Music. She was awarded a Countess of Munster Award and has been a
semi-finalist in both the Kathleen Ferrier and the Belvedere International
Opera Competition. Gaynor Keeble combines a busy performing career with
teaching both privately and at the University of Warwick. She won
the London Lieder Prize in December 2001. In2006 she made her debut with
English National Opera as Katisha and in 2008 will be making her debut at the
Royal Opera House in The Magic Flute |

Accompanist - Tom Henderson Tom
has been our accompanist and assistant conductor since 2005. Since
starting his Mathematics degree at the University of Warwick, Tom has become
heavily involved in both the Chamber Choir and Warwick Student Opera, acting
as musical director for a number of productions. As a singer, outside the
University he is also a member of Armonico Consort, the City of Birmingham
Symphony Chorus and the New London Chamber Choir. |
