Established in
1980, we are a mixed choir of about 40 residents of Hampton-in-Arden, Knowle,
Solihull and surrounding areas, who meet most Monday evenings to rehearse at
the Scouts
& Guides HQ in Shadowbrook Lane, Hampton in Arden (location).
Our rehearsal
program regularly includes “training evenings” led by our vocal coach Gaynor Keeble.
We give two or
three concerts a year with a varied program of music - often working with professional
soloists and orchestras. In addition we host a “SINGALONG” every summer where
we welcome many guest singers to enjoy with us an opportunity to sing a major
choral work from scratch.
We belong to
‘Making Music’ - a national body linking together amateur music makers across
the country.
